William Julié and Gonzalo Boye, international lawyers representing Evghenia Gutul, Governor of Gagauzia, Moldova, presented the violations of her fundamental rights in the context of the criminal proceedings currently being brought against her, in the light of European and international law. William Julié focused on the technical aspects of the conviction handed down on 5 August 2025, while Gonzalo Boye emphasised the violations of her rights under the ECHR.
