William JULIÉ explains that since France was heavily pressured by the international community, whether it was by the UN Committee on children rights or requests before the European Court of Human Rights, France finally allowed for the repatriation of women and children in Syrian camps. Pending trial, they will be arrested and incarcerated while the children will be temporarily placed in foster care. A reintegration policy has yet to be defined.
